When I was discussing with few people, suggesting about FINANCIAL FREEDOM, they just asked me why do we need to have FINANCIAL FREEDOM? why should we achieve it? I felt that the question is meaningful. I pursued quiet seriously. I have found few observations, learning, teachings, which will be presented in this post.
AT PERSONAL LEVEL
- Do you really enjoy living in few bedroom flat? how do you buy house?, do you feel proud to pay more than the sale price of house, in the form of installments or do you pay less than the sale price and avail cash discount, in form of "payment in full by cash"? Which is your favorite route and which are you following? why? After acquiring your house, Even though your family expands, you cannot expand your house. Why we should NOT have house like ANTILIA(Please watch the video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpv9SdeC8_A)?.
- Do you really enjoy riding 2 wheeler? Are you happy to have family within that? Do not you like to have entire & happy family members together, where you can organize to ride in a multi-wheeler vehicle? Even though you can buy multi-wheeler vehicle, but you do not have enough parking space. Even if you buy how do you buy it? you pay more the sale price in the form of installments or you buy less than the sale price, by paying full amount in cash? Which is your favorite route. You have friends and relatives, who has multi-wheeler vehicle, but you cannot receive them, because you lack of parking space.
- Do you really enjoy to see your own kids study in schools, which are near to our homes, which would be cost-effective? Do not you like to see them studying from a premier schools? Do you want your kids to do their graduation or post-graduation from a college, which is available in the same city? Do not you want them to do the graduations from the best of the college available in the world?.
- Honestly, tell me do you really like to travel with family for a vacation? If so how often you travel? How far you travel? within state? within country? within continent? all over the world?
- Did you ever observed any situation, where you need some money probably half of year salary at a stretch. Do you have enough cash in your bank account or do you choose credit card, or personal loan or jewel loan or beg to the relatives or friends for a loan. Do not you like to see in your savings bank account with a balance of 5 years of your salary in a stretch?
AT GROUP LEVEL
- In case, due to conflict between you and your manager, or management, or vendor, or supplier or customer, misunderstanding occurs, which impacts on your job and if you lose your job, and not able to find your next job immediately, then, how long you can survive with your family, without compromising the present style of living? you might have lots of years of experience, lots of credentials, lots of hard work, does it really support these things, after losing the job? Think about it seriously.
- In case, due to business competition, another shop opens-up near to your location, what is the business you would enjoy? Do you have more business or same business? what is the alternate source of income for you and your dependents? Think about it seriously.
- Why are we getting generation gap? We have come through our parents. We have grown-up at their guidance, as per their directions, how come we became different than them? why are we differ their opinions? Do not struggle much. Simple answer for this...when the kid needs there parents TODAY, parents were busy in earning for their kid's TOMORROW. Why should not you spend quality time with your own kids, as per their request and expectations? Since you avoid them in the name of their security, and in turn, they avoid you at your aged phase, as redundant. Do not blame them that they are not responsible by not taking care of their aged parents, instead they look at there parents as NON-CARING parents, during their teenage time and they act when they get opportunity. The same kids are so caring with grand parents, because, they have given their quality time to them, whenever the need it, not really money, fame, position, authority or any other aspects, which we think-off.
SOCIAL LEVEL
- I was listening to a discourse. The speaker was mentioning that world is filled with negativity and if you want good, you need to create space for it. Nowadays, world is filled with lots of terrorist organizations doing so much of harm to the common people. How? He mentioned that they all are money-rich groups. They can feed people and turn them towards their interests, goals, and needs. On the same side, they good people, they starve for money and they do not seem to be rich groups too. In case if the world need to be peaceful, all these negative organizations need to be converted as poor as possible, and make all the good people make them as rich as possible. For example, if Mother Therasa, had good money, how nicely she would serve to the community. Did she had? definite NO....Assume you had more money and if you could donate....how nice it is!!!!
The financial freedom, to be achieved without compromising the quality of health, with unlimited time, supported by truthful relationships, living with nature, roaming all over the world and appreciating the creator, passing the legacy to our upcoming generations, to acknowledge, aware, appreciate, the meaning of our own lives. This is worth more that just statement of - 'Highly Appreciated'.
Overall you alone achieving Financial Freedom, would make you a strong, fulfilling, supportive, caring person, by which you can definitely support your loving family, and raise the society to next level, by which you can make the world safe, happy and peaceful place for our families and upcoming generations.
